After teasing the 2019 return of Rick and Morty months ago in May, Adult Swim has finally announced a release date: Sunday, November 10.

The announcement was revealed in the first official season four trailer, ushering in the dysfunctional duo just as violently as they left. Seriously, the promo manages to rack up a kill count of eight in just under two minutes. Count ‘em up yourself, and watch the trailer below:

Fans may despair at the mention of a mere five episodes — “half the season you deserve” — but just remember that season four is only kicking off the 70 episode batch Adult Swim agreed to in 2018.

The other 65 episodes will bring us to a 10th season, at the very least — provided that Rick and Morty don’t kill each other first.
