ICON Park will now feature a brand new restaurant that will take guests’ tastebuds around the world! When Ox Grill opens, the menu will feature food linked to countries from around the world, as well as a gourmet salad bar. The 7,800 square foot restaurant will also include an event venue that seats up to 200 people and can be used for corporate meetings or special occasions. It is a unique addition to ICON Park’s entertainment district.
“Ox Grill brings a whole new dimension to dining at ICON Park,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, President and CEO of ICON Park. “Guests will get to enjoy global cuisine with a view of our record-breaking attractions.”
The restaurant is an innovative collaboration between local entrepreneur, Josefina Muñiz, and veteran Orlando restaurateur Joseph Thomas. The two have worked to create unique dishes inspired by various international cuisines. The menu will feature mofongo inspired by Puerto Rico, vatapa created from Brazilian recipes, and a taste of France in the chicken jambonette.
“I am so proud to bring people from around the world together over food,” said Muñiz. “ICON Park is the perfect location for a new restaurant experience. Our guests will feel spoiled from the minute they pull up to the complimentary valet until they take that last bite of dessert.”
Ox Grill will be situated near Skeletons: Museum of Osteology and Walgreens, with free parking available through the nearby valet and the seven-story garage on the other side of ICON Park.
Ox Grill joins a lineup of more than 40 distinctive restaurants throughout ICON Park, in addition to The Wheelhouse Market. ICON Park continues to increase its restaurant choices with Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, set to open in 2020. Ox Grill is set to open its doors this fall.
