Nathan Fillion, best known for his roles in Firefly and Castle, is set to star in The Suicide Squad. The news broke via Fillion’s Twitter account. The poster shared is black with a full cast list, with The Suicide Squad written at the bottom, and bullet holes through the title.
There is very little information as of yet on the anticipated sequel to Suicide Squad. The Suicide Squad is currently in pre-production but is set to be released in 2021. There is currently no information on who Fillion will be playing.
