Big news Selena fans!
Earlier this week it was announced that Christian Serratos will play the late Tejano star Selena Quintanilla in a new Netflix series. The show was announced back in December and will be made with the help of Selena’s surviving family members.
Christian Serratos is best known for her roles as Rosita in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Angela Weber in Twilight.
There’s not much info on the series other than Serratos casting, but more info should be coming as filming gets closer.
Selena Quintanilla was a Mexican-American star in the Tejano music world who tragically lost her life at the young age of 23 at the hands of her friend/fan club president Yolanda Saldívar after confronting Yolanda at her hotel room. Some of her greatest English hits were “Dreaming of You” and”I Could Fall in Love”, not to mention “Como la Flor” and “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom”.
