What To Expect At Keystone Comic Con This August

Things are about to get real nerdy in Philly when Keystone Comic Con comes to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, August 23-25. Dubbed “Philly’s Home of Pop Culture,” Keystone Comic Con will surely have a little something for everyone.

The convention will have plenty of entertainment guests on deck for photo ops, autographs, and panels. First up is Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland. Holland will be appearing Sunday only, and will have a panel at 10 a.m. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, look out for guests Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), as well as James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) on Saturday and Sunday. Firefly and Suits fans alike will have the opportunity to meet Gina Torres, while Gilmore Girls fans will get the chance to meet Scott Patterson.

Writer and Director of such hits as Halloween and Escape From New York, John Carpenter, will appear all three days. As an added bonus, you can even purchase a photo op with him and Christine, the famous 1958 Plymouth Fury from the movie Christine! Levar Burton, Marina Sirtis, and Michael Dorn of Star Trek: The Next Generation fame will all appear at the convention. Nichelle Nichols from the original Star Trek series will appear as well!

Other entertainment guests include Charlet Chung (Overwatch, Carmen Sandiego), Fred Tatasciore (Avengers Assemble, Overwatch), James Arnold Taylor (Star Wars Rebels, Back to the Future), Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Jennifer Hale (Mass Effect, Overwatch), Jeremy Shada (Adventure Time, Voltron), Mary Elizabeth Glynn (Star Wars Rebels, Critical Role), Nolan North (Uncharter, Young Justice), Steve Blum (Star Wars Rebels), Troy Baker (The Last Of Us, Bioshock Infinite), and Vanessa Marshall (Star Wars Rebels, Guardians of the Galaxy).

Comic fans can also rejoice with Keystone Comic Con’s lineup of comic guests! Set to appear are Amy Chu (Poison Ivy, Red Sonja), Barry Kitson (Avengers, Spider-Man, Batman), Ben Harvey (Fallen World, The Life and Death of Toyo Harada), Benny R. Powell (White Widow, What If?), Bob Mcleod (The New Mutants), Brandon Montclare (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur), Buzz (Vampirella, Power Rangers), Denys Cowan (The Question, Batman), Domo Stanton (The Sandman: House of Whispers), Erica Schultz (Daredevil), Jim Cheung (Justice League), Jim Steranko (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain America), and many more amazing creators! Panels will be held during all three days of the convention. On Friday, you can enjoy a panel with Jim Steranko, a Star Wars Rebels panel featuring guests from the show itself, and a Star Trek panel with Marina Sirtis and Michael Dorn. On Saturday, there will be a Harry Potter reunion panel with Bonnie Wright and James & Oliver Phelps. There will be panels with Scott Patterson and John Carpenter on Saturday, as well. After you see the panel with Tom Holland on Sunday, be sure to stick around and enjoy panels for Overwatch and Retro Replay Live.

There are many ticket options still available, including one-day passes.  Premium and three-day passes are available, as well. Though, VIP is unfortunately sold out.
