Supernatural‘s Brendan Taylor announced today his participation in Vancouver’s largest immersive theater experience, Deep Into Darkness.

The production will chronicle the last moments of Edgar Allen Poe. The immersive theater experience will shatter the “fourth wall” and allow the audience to roam with characters across three floors, 20 rooms, and 30,000 square feet as they follow the author’s descent into his own tortured mind.

Laura Carly Miller and Sydney Doberstein both star in the production and also co-wrote co-produced, and co-directed it. Miller explained in a press release the motivation behind creating the unusual and exciting theater experience:

We wanted to bring a ground-breaking and multi-sensory artistic experience to Vancouver that could simultaneously challenge, provoke, and inspire people in a way that traditional theatre could not. ‘Deep Into Darkness’ achieves just that.

Deep Into Darkness will run from August 13 through August 25 at The Cultch in Vancouver, BC.
