‘War Machine’ Series in Early Development with Disney+

The upcoming Disney+ streaming service has announced that another beloved Marvel character is getting their show. The series will be called War Machine, who is portrayed by Don Cheadle (House of Lies) in the Marvel franchise. War Machine is the fifth Marvel Universe show that is in the works for the Disney streaming service.

Lt. Col. James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes, who became War Machine, made his first appearance in Iron Man 2, when he took the Mark 2 from Tony Stark. He has also appeared in Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Endgame.

The series is in early development, so not a lot of details about the cast or when it will be released is known yet.

Disney+ is scheduled to be available beginning November 12, 2019.
