J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker) and his son Henry Abrams (Ready Player One) have announced that they are collaborating on an exciting new project. They are going to be releasing a five-part Spider-Man comic book.

They will be joined by artist Sara Pichelli who will be drawing the mini-series and colorist Dave Stewart. Olivier Coipel did the cover for the first installment.

Fans will be introduced to a brand-new villain named Cadaverous, who will be causing havoc in both Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson’s lives.

In an interview with the New York Times, J.J Abrams said,

“The story shows Peter Parker in a way you haven’t seen him before.”
