Director Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs) has a new movie in the works!

Collider reports that Jerrod Carmichael (The Carmichael Show, Ramy) has been tapped by Tarantino to write a Django/Zorro movie based on the crossover comic book series of the same name.

Turning this project into a film has been whispered about since 2014. And it remains unclear as to whether Tarantino would direct this film or would serve as a producer.

The comic, released jointly with DC and Dynamite Entertainment in 2013, brought together the western hero and the suave swordsman for an epic adventure and takes place several years after the events of Django Unchained.

We will keep you posted as new details are released!
