Party for the Planet at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this April

In celebration of Earth Day, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be hosting its annual three-day event “Party for the Planet” April 20 thru April 22. During the special event, guests will be invited to engage, explore and connect with the magic of nature.

Party for the Planet kicks off the moment guests enter the park as they are greeted by a marine debris sculpture celebrating Disney Nature: Penguins to help promote and inspire conservation action. Guests can find the display in the Oasis.

The fun continues as guests will get to experience unique character appearance’s, special entertainment, and commemorative photo opportunities available with Disney PhotoPass photographers.

During the special weekend event, guests will get to meet animal care experts, animal educators and conservation experts to see first-hand how Disney cares for animals and works to save endangered species worldwide. Guests will also get to watch animal feedings and training experiences, specially planned for Party for the Planet, to learn how the park’s animal keepers care for some of your favorite animals.

If you are looking for a unique experience, check out Tiffins Talks, a special dinning experience April 20-22 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dining quests will get to learn about Walt Disney Imagineer and Portfolio Executive Joe Rohde, the creative force behind the concept, design and build out of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Join Rohde for a wonderful and unique conversation as he tells you stories from his travels.

The dining experience will include a 4-course meal offering global dishes, desserts and specialty beverages. The pricing for this dinning package is $199 plus tax and gratuity and requires separate park admission. Spots are limited but guests can make reservations now by calling 407 WDW-DINE (407 939-3463).
