The fifth and final season of iZombie has a premiere date! The show will return Thursday, May 2 on The CW for its final 13-episode run.
Last season was an eventful one after the knowledge of zombies was spread throughout Seattle. It resulted in Liv stepping into a place of leadership, working to help zombies like herself. It left her in some hot water with Fillmore Graves, and a slow build of Major towing the line between being a loyal employee and caring. And now with Major in charge, things might change for the better — for humans and zombies alike. He even surprisingly recruited Blaine to help with the brain supply!
The season also had a sweet ending. Liv, tired of playing hero, was ready to be cured of being a zombie. She was prepared to be human again. Instead, Clive and Bozzio got married and gave up their plans to have children, since Bozzio is a zombie. Liv gave them the best wedding present they could get, the cure.
With Liv still a zombie, and things looking very hopeful for Seattle and the beloved characters of iZombie, it will be interesting to see what the upcoming season has in store and just how the series will end!
