The Hulu series is produced by Wu-Tang’s own RZA and Method Man, with Chris Robinson (known for his work on Star) as writer and director. It will be set in the early 90s in New York and will focus on the formation and growth of the crew, as well as their struggle in dealing with criminal activity and producing rap music.
Sanders will portray RZA in the series, while Moore will play the role of his best friend, Sha.
The series will not be the first film project for RZA. He acted and produced in the 2012 film Iron Fist and is at work on an upcoming movie called Angel Dust, which will be a horror movie dealing with a serial killer in Staten Island.
A release date for the Hulu series has not yet been announced.
