In honor of Valentine’s Day, a day dedicated to the celebration of love, we wanted to also celebrate the love stories and relationships of 14 of our favorite fictional couples.
1. Han and Leia – Star Wars
From “stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder” to “I love you”, Han and Leia are one of our favorite couples in the entire galaxy.
2. Amy and Rory – Doctor Who
The Girl Who Waited and The Last Centurion. Not only were Amy and Rory two of our favorite companions, their love story withstood the test of time…and time travel.
3. Star Lord and Gamora – Guardians of the Galaxy
Peter Quill and Gamora may be one of our favorite enemies to lovers stories. And…one of the saddest after the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
4. Hermione and Ron – Harry Potter
Love might be the closest thing Muggles have to magic, but this couple has the love and the magic.
5. Jack and Sally – The Nightmare Before Christmas
“My dearest friend if you don’t mind, I’d like to stay here by your side.” We couldn’t help but add this scarily adorable duo to the list.
6. Willow and Tara – Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Tara and Willow complimented each other so well. They grounded, protected and brought out the best in one another.
7. Claire and Jamie – Outlander
This couple has been together over 30 years and there’s not much-including travelling through time- that they wouldn’t do for each other.
8. Simon and Blue – Love, Simon
This movie was one of our favorite films of 2018, not only because of its message, but because of it’s happy ending. Simon and Blue not only found each other, but their true selves in this film
9. Alec and Magnus – Shadowhunters
Magnus and Alec are another couple that bring out the best in on another. Together, there’s not much they can’t take on.
10. Edward and Bella – Twilight
The lion fell in love with the lamb. Need we say more?
11. Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky – To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
Whoa, whoa, whoa are these two cute together, or what?
12. Priestly and Tish – Ten Inch Hero
This was a supernaturally cute couple, even more so because stars Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris fell in love while filming this adorable indie movie.
13. Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago – Brooklyn 99
From the bet that landed them on their first date, to their beautiful last minute wedding ceremony, we’ve enjoyed watching their love grow almost as much as Charles has.
14. Anna and Kristoff – Frozen
Anna and Kristoff are so cute together they could melt any frozen heart.
