The story follows Quasimodo, a bell ringer in a church, as he tries to defy the evil man who raised him, the minister, who keeps him hidden. He meets Esmeralda and the two have a special friendship connection. Quasimodo has to find the courage and the strength to leave the tower, and go against the minister in order to save Esmeralda and the town.

According to Entertainment Weekly, they will create the script from the 1996 movie and Victor Hugo’s novel. Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz will be crafting the music for this new adventure. No news yet on casting news, but stay tuned!
