The final season of the comic book adaptation of iZombie premieres Thursday, April 4 on the CW.

Season four ended with Liv’s friends saving her from being executed; unfortunately her boyfriend Levon (Daniel Bonjour) was not as lucky. The fight at the warehouse resulted in Major (Robert Buckley) becoming the new head of Fillmore Graves. Ravi (Rahul Kohli) is getting close to creating a zombie cure that will make them human again, and Liv survived to continue to fight the good fight.

The series follows Liv (Rose McIver), a medical resident, who after an accident gets transformed into a zombie. Now as a zombie, Liv works in a morgue and can still talk and think like a human as long as she eats brains. It is a little cliché, but there is a catch: she takes on the personality and memories of the person the brain belonged. Of course, this leads to many shenanigans as she works with a detective to solve crimes, pretending to be a psychic.

The entire cast will be returning for season five along with guest stars like former basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
