Disney’s CEO, Bob Iger, recently talked to Barrons.com about all sorts of interesting things; the new Disney streaming service, the parks, box office, and more.

It’s an article that’s a great read – and to hear from the head of Disney on all of the amazing plans in store. One piece of information stood out, though. While talking about the Disney Parks, Iger did mention that Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open in June, with Walt Disney World’s opening later in 2019.

When Star Wars opens in Anaheim in June and in Florida later in the year, that’s adding capacity.

It’s not a confirmation of a specific release date, but a good sign that Disneyland fans can look forward to June.
