If you’ve been following the series of commercials from State Farm featuring David Haydn-Jones (Supernatural, A Bramble House Christmas) playing Gabe Gabriel, you might think you would know the character pretty well after watching more than a dozen commercials… but you would almost definitely be wrong.
In this surprising and laugh-out-loud funny 23-second spot, Gabe Gabriel shares a side of himself we’ve yet to see: his bare chest.

Many of the commercials with Gabe Gabriel have also had Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers in them as well, but this one does not. Instead, it’s just Haydn-Jones and real-life State Farm agent Patrick Minnis. Though Rodgers always adds something special when he’s there, these two hold their own here with ease. The bare chest and belly button ring might have something to do with that, but Gabriel’s ending line, “Get hip, bruh,” was pretty fantastic, too.
