After months of speculation, many fake announcements and one postponement, Marvel Studios has finally released the highly anticipated trailer for the conclusion of the Avengers film series, which started with Avengers (2012).

So far fans hadn’t seen a confirmed title, there have only been teasers by the Russo brothers – the directors team behind the movie. Many speculations have been made, even the idea that a title wouldn’t be released with the first trailer today. But the studio was gracious and revealed the title Avengers: Endgame with the release of the trailer.

After Infinity War (2018), the fate of many of the fans’ beloved characters remained unknown. Fans were left in the dark about their favorite character’s future, although some characters were already “returning” in their solo movies.

Today’s trailer starts off with the character that began the journey of the most successful franchise of the past ten years in 2008, Tony Stark. The trailer shows some of the surviving characters’ fate, dealing with losses, preparing for the final fight to avenge those who have been lost. Will our heroes survive this battle? Will some of the other characters return? We’ll all have to wait until next year to find out.

The wait until April will be a difficult one, but it will undoubtedly be eased with the help of more trailers and teasers, but also with the release of two more movies from Marvel studios – Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse will be released on December 14 and Captain Marvel is due to be released on March 8th 2019.

The first poster for the movie was also released, confirming the film will hit theaters April 26, 2019.

Conny joined her first fandom at the tender age of three and somehow never stopped finding new things to obsess about and love. Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
