Alex Pettyfer Film ‘Back Roads’ in Theaters December 7

Actor Alex Pettyfer, known for movies such as I am Number Four, Beastly, and Magic Mike, makes his directorial debut with Back Roads, which will hit theaters December 7th. Joining Pettyfer in the cast are Juliette Lewis, Robert Patrick, Once Upon a Time‘s Jennifer Morrison, and Bates Motel‘s Nicola Peltz.

Morrison announced the release date on her Twitter, stating:

I had such an amazing experience working with first time director @alexpettyfer I am very proud to be a part of this film.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Pettyfer plays Harley, a young man “dealing with the challenges of adulthood when his mother (Juliette Lewis) is suddenly imprisoned for killing his father.”
