Rent fans, the time has come! FOX announced that the next live musical will be the award winning Rent! The musical follows friends who are struggling to make ends meet in New York City at the time of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Starring in this show will be Vanessa Hudgens as Maureen (previously played by Idina Menzel), Kiersey Clemons as Joanne, Brandon Victor Dixon as Collins, Jordan Fisher as Mark, Brennin Hunt as Roger, Mario as Benny, Tinashe as Mimi, and Valentina as Angel. Also guest starring will be Keala Settle (who portrayed the Bearded Lady in The Greatest Showman).

Luckily, fans won’t have to wait 525,600 minutes in order to see this musical come to FOX, it will premiere Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 7 p.m. eastern time.
