HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp Randall Fraser! Born on October 20, 1918, the main character of both the Outlander books and television series turns 100 today!
In honor of our heroine, Claire’s 100th birthday, the STARZ show Outlander has released a new trailer to promote the upcoming premiere for season 4.
Warning: Spoilers for big things to happen in this season are shown in this trailer, so if you do not like spoilers, then we recommend not watching.

Claire: “Eventually, people will come here in their thousands, then millions, all hoping to live what will be called ‘The American Dream’.”
Jamie: “Is that the same as our dream?”
Claire: “I suppose it is.”
The trailer shows Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) initial adventures in America. They learn what life is like on a plantation when they meet Jamie’s Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy). The couple also tries to figure out how to gain a fresh start while knowing that they are in a land of political turmoil on the verge of war. The relationship between the Fraser’s and the Native Americans is also shown more in this trailer and will be a major plot point for season 4.
We see a bit more of new characters in this trailer such as Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speelers) and Governor William Tryon (Tim Downie). Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) are briefly glimpsed throughout the trailer while Jamie talks about helping to build a world that is good and safe for Brianna. The final scenes is where the big spoilers for season 4 lie. But, we will not share what those are in case you want to keep that part a secret.
Outlander season 4 premieres on November 4th.
