A new short film starring Emily Swallow is now available to watch on Facebook. Swallow shared the link via her official Twitter on Wednesday:

The semi-autobiographical film by sisters Florine and Kim Nüesch runs 15 minutes and focuses on the two young daughters of a woman struggling with mental illness. The synopsis from the film’s official site reads:

Set in the 1970’s, the film centers on two little girls, who struggle with their mother’s bipolar disease that constantly disrupts their lives and burdens them to grow up early. As her mother’s illness takes a dark turn, Sapphire, the older of the two, has to come to terms with the fact that her mother will never be normal.
