We attended MegaCon this past weekend, and we’ll be bringing you all of our coverage over the next few days! Up first, we got to see the cast of the popular Cartoon Network show, Steven Universe! One of the panels we saw was called “The Moms of Steven Universe” and featured the voices of Pearl (Deedee Magno Hall), Garnet (Estelle) and Amethyst (Michaela Dietz).
The three joined together to speak to a full room about the show (with no spoilers from the new episodes!) and got to hear from fans. Questions were asked about which song they loved to sing the most, told fun stories about how they were cast and much more!
We also got to meet the three of them and go through their autograph line! Estelle was so cool, and much like Garnet. She was really sweet, and let fans draw and leave messages on her table, as well as passing out candy to those who came to see her. Deedee really loved the artwork we had her sign, as well as taking a picture of one of our friend’s shirts because she’d never seen it before. Michaela was so much fun, taking her time to talk to us and drawing us a fun character on a post-it note. You can tell all three of them really loved their jobs and loved meeting fans and getting to talk to us!
