The latest trailer release for ‘The Untitled Deadpool Sequel’, also known as Deadpool 2 was released this week. The clip features Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) acting as the hilarious voice over figure typically used in Hollywood trailers. Deadpool introduces the villain Cable, played by Josh Brolin, in his own unique style before the film footage resumes.

In theaters May 18th, the trailer appears to promise a well-developed new enemy in Cable along with all the expected sass and fourth-wall breaking dialogue seen in the first film.

Brolin has signed on for four films as the character, so we can expect to see a lot more of the cybernetic mutant soldier.

The video is accompanied by a description that can only have been written by Deadpool himself:

“After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.”

Movie-goers will be in for a wild ride May 18th.
