Inspiring Documentary About ‘Wayward’ Released

Share:

One of our friends, Alana King, created and released Wayward: The Documentary today. The documentary features Kim Rhodes, an actor whom along with Briana Buckmaster, are two of the faces of the Wayward movement. Kim narrates beautifully what the movement and spinoff mean to her, speaking to everyone about why this show, and this movement are important.

With clips from conventions and other members of the fandom including Lynn Zubernis (writer of ‘Family Don’t End With Blood’), Shelley Harper (co-owner of Con*Quest Journals), Rachel Miner and more, they share their stories of why this is so important.

What most people might not know, is that this website is run by an all-female team. A female owns and runs this site. Females edit this site, interview for this site, and write for this site. We all draw empowerment from the ‘Wayward’ movement, and this video really shows the heart of it.

Next week, we’ll be celebrating ‘A Week of Wayward’ where we have all sorts of events planned. We have Thunderclaps planned and a video project coming in celebration of the pilot airing on January 18. You can read more about that HERE!.

Thank you to Alana for making a beautiful documentary, as well as everyone involved. Watch the documentary below.
