2016 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival Expands to 90 Days!

Disney has announced that the annual Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival at Walt Disney World Resort will be expanded from 75 days to 90 days in 2016.

The event will start on March 2 and continue through May 30. The Festival is known for it’s topiaries of Disney Characters, shows, butterfly garden and a decoration of some of the world’s most beautiful flowers.

Disney also plans to add some new topiaries and gardens:
“Making their topiary debut at the park’s front entrance will be Donald Duck’s mischievous nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie along with Donald and Daisy. And to celebrate the National Parks Service centennial, Ranger Mickey Mouse will join for the first time in Future World.”

There will be a new Floral Sun garden that will celebrate the brightest star in Earth’s orbit with yellow “sunbursts” that pop up in Future World.

Make sure to check out Epcot from March 2 through May 30 to see it all!
