Star Wars: The Force Awakens Special Event at Disney Springs

Disney has announced a special opening night event for Star Wars: The Force Awakens on December 17th at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs.

The event will start at AMC Disney Springs 24, with a confirmed seat to see the film a day before it officially releases. After that, guests
guests can enjoy a private after-party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios until 2 a.m. You’ll get a look and access to the brand new Star Wars Launch Bay, ride on Star Tours and a preview of a new fireworks show set to the iconic “Star Wars” score. Guests will also get a commemorative souvenir event ticket and are encouraged to dress up in Star Wars attire. (There are some costume restrictions that you can check out here.)

Tickets for that event will go on sale tomorrow, Monday, October 19th following the release of the trailer during Monday Night Football on ESPN. Ticket prices are as followed: 2D ($94.99), 3D ($98.99) and 3D ETX ($99.99).
